Vishal Bhatt - FCA India and FCCA UK

Vishal qualified as a chartered accountant in India in 2004. Prior to graduating from the University of Mumbai with a degree in accountancy and economics, he was involved in his father's practise in South Mumbai.

He joined his father's audit department as a trainee and quickly became involved in some large charity and corporate audits. Due to his family's love for the profession, he believes he could not have exhaled in any other profession except accounting and auditing. Vishal's uncles and their sons are all accountants, and his grandfather was the founding president of the Bombay Chartered Accountant Society.

He wanted to broaden his accounting and auditing expertise after working in the practise for six years, so he earned a degree in International Financial Reporting and Auditing Standards and passed his ACCA exams in 2009. Since then, he has worked with some of the top firms, honing his skills in the fields of statutory, internal, and systems auditing, and he has extensive experience dealing with audits ranging from £20 million to £300 million in turnover.

Vishal's clients have come from a wide range of industries, including information technology, manufacturing, and logistics. Vishal also served on the ACCA's Harrow Network member's panel for two years before stepping down due to a work commitment. Vishal spends most of his free time reading technical articles to broaden his knowledge or making sure he doesn't miss any of her daughter's or son's gymnastics or football practises.

Siddharth Khivsara

Siddharth brings over 10+ years of international experience in audit and finance transformation to BLS. A Chartered Accountant with a passion for automation, he's known for simplifying complex financial operations and building robust systems for the future. His background includes experience at KPMG India, KPMG Budapest, and Forvis Mazars UK. His four years of experience in the UK have honed his ability to collaborate effectively with diverse professionals across hierarchies and cultures.

Yash Mehta

(Audit Support Team: - Manager)

Yash oversees the firm's back-office audit team, which assists the Partners in completing audit files to the high standards required by the FRC and ACCA. Yash is well-versed in international auditor standards such as UK GAAP, IFRS, and Ind AS (Indian Accounting standards).

Yash is eager to begin his ACCA journey after passing his India Chartered Accountancy exams.

Aryan Manwani

Aryan Manwani is a part-qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong foundation in Indian, US, and UK accounting and taxation frameworks. His multi-jurisdictional expertise enables him to bridge diverse regulatory environments and support businesses with accurate reporting, compliance, and cross-border financial solutions.

Mustafa Anandwala

Currently pursuing the ACCA qualification, he has a strong foundation in Indian, US, and UK accounting and taxation frameworks. His exposure to multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments enables him to support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and cross-border engagements.

Ruhee Jain

(Payroll Consultant)

Ruhi has been with the firm since the inception of BLS Burnells in 2016. She is a key member of our accounts and tax team. On a monthly basis, she ensures that all account and tax deadlines are compiled. She and her team will create a list of jobs with deadlines and assign them based on their filing dates.

Ruhi has assisted in the training of juniors and students on work placements. Ruhi is very approachable and ensures that all trainees who join us meet their learning objectives on time.

Binola Bhatt

(Office administration)

Binola graduated with honours from Mumbai University and relocated to London in 2005. She began working part-time for a local business consultancy firm in their office administration department because she had a young family.

She has returned to work now that her children have grown. Binola typically assists the team with a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks, such as scanning correspondence, completing VAT returns, and learning to process payroll under Ruhi's supervision. She's been an excellent addition to the team.
